1. What the product is
Be My Image is a browser extension that collects images from the web page you
are viewing, captures pages, and lets you edit and save the results locally. It is a
tool; what you collect with it is your responsibility.
2. Your responsibilities — copyright
Download only images that you own or have permission to use.
Be My Image does not bypass login restrictions, paywalls, DRM, or website access controls.
- You are solely responsible for how you use images collected with the extension.
- Respect each website's terms of service and applicable copyright law.
- The extension only accesses content your browser can already display; it must not be used to circumvent any access control, and it contains no functionality to do so.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the extension to collect content for redistribution you are not licensed to make.
- Do not use it to harvest personal images of others for harassment or identification.
- Do not attempt to modify the extension to remove the protections above.
4. No warranty
The extension is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from its use,
including lost data, missed captures, or claims by third parties over content you collected.
5. Changes to the product or these terms
Features may change between versions. Updated terms will be published at this address
with a new date; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
